WiFi 6E wireless networking extends WiFi 6 capabilities into the 6 GHz radio spectrum to offer a wider frequency range of 1200 MHz. For comparison, WiFi 6 offers 20, 40, 80 or 160 MHz in the 5 GHz spectrum. This wider range of channels means that WiFi 6E devices are potentially less likely to interfere with one another and can serve an exponentially greater number of 6E devices simultaneously without affecting performance for each individual device. Since WiFi 6E devices can achieve speeds beyond one gigabit, multi-gig modems and routers are required to see the full potential.
