Internet of Things is a category of device, typically WiFi, Bluetooth, and/or cellular-connected. These devices are usually dedicated to performing specific tasks or capturing specific types of data points. Some devices may switch a relay when triggered or capture, record, temporarily store, and transmit data to an external device for interpretation or triggering of another action. These devices are ideal for automating tasks that could otherwise require tedious human intervention.
