A specification of network / Ethernet cable that allows network traffic to reach 10 Gigabits per second of throughput. That’s enough speed to transmit a 25 GB 4K movie in 22 seconds. These cables are usually identifiable by an internal spiral + (plus sign) shaped spine that separates the twisted pairs from each other. Unlike CAT7, they do not include internal metal shielding.
